Speldhurst in Flower began with the Millennium Sign flower beds at the end of Southfields in 2016, created by volunteers with support from the Parish Council and local residents. The planting focuses on bee-friendly species that are easy to maintain and bring colour to the village for much of the year.
Later projects included the renewed bed at the Roopers-Ferbies junction and flower troughs outside the village hall, the violin shop and the church gate at the Langton junction.
