The Speldhurst Association of Men (SAM) meets on the third Tuesday of each month for a social activity such as ten pin bowling or a visit to a place of interest, usually followed by a pub lunch.
The group is independent of other village institutions and has no religious or political affiliations. Wives and friends are invited to some events, and membership is open to any man who lives in Speldhurst or has a connection with the village.
