Speldhurst Stoolball Club dates back to the years between 1912 and 1920 and now plays in the West Kent Ladies Stoolball League, with matches against Surrey and Sussex sides.
Stoolball is an ancient English bat-and-ball game often described as an ancestor of cricket and baseball. It is open to all ages and remains a sociable way to play competitive sport and make friends.
The club is proud of its long history in the village and of stoolball's wider place in English sporting history.
